GOAL
Isolate the chest for confident posture and a striated chest

DETAILS
1. Set cables to shoulder height.
2. Begin by taking a lunge stance. 
3. Proud chest, slightly bend elbows, and externally rotate your shoulders.
4. Start with handles touching together and squeeze your chest as hard as possible. 
5. Slowly release and lower back. Keeping elbows slightly bent and the tension in the chest.
6. Squeeze the handles back together. 
7. Don’t overpower with your shoulders. Aka don’t shrug.

Cable Chest Flys (drop set last set)

GOAL 
Build boulder shoulders and that v-taper

DETAILS
1. Lock in dumbbells overhead on an incline bench. 
2. Be sure to keep full control of the dumbbells at all times. Then breathe out and push the dumbbells up with your shoulders.
3. Lock your arms at the top, hold for a second, and then start slowly lowering the weight. Lowering the weights should take about twice as long as raising them.
4. Proud chest and control the movement.

Incline Dumbbell Press

GOAL 
Tighten your lower chest for confident posture
 
DETAILS 
1. Secure your legs at the end of the decline bench and slowly lay down on the bench.
2. Using a medium width grip, lift the bar from the rack and hold it straight over you with your arms locked. The arms should be perpendicular to the floor. This will be your starting position. Tip: In order to protect your rotator cuff, it is best if you have a spotter help you lift the barbell off the rack.
3. As you breathe in, come down slowly until you feel the bar on your lower chest.
4. After a second pause, bring the bar back to the starting position as you breathe out and push the bar using your chest muscles. Lock your arms and squeeze your chest in the contracted position, hold for a second and then start coming down slowly again. Tip: It should take at least twice as long to go down than to come up).

Decline Barbell Bench Press

GOAL
Great inner pec work

DETAILS
1. Place a dumbbell at bottom of decline bench. 
2. Mount machine, carefully lol.
3. Grasp the dumbbell with both hands and hold it straight over your chest at arms length. Both palms should be pressing against the underside one of the sides of the dumbbell. This will be your starting position, make sure the weight is secure.
4. Slightly bend elbows, lower the weight slowly in an arc behind your head. 
5. Bring the dumbbell back to the starting position by squeezing your chest and exhale as you perform this movement.
6. Hold the weight on the initial position for a second and repeat the movement.

Decline Pull Over

GOAL
Burn em brah. This is the optimal exercise for building rounder shoulders to trick people into thinking you have a tinier waist #TrickorTreat

DETAILS
1. Grip can vary. Neutral grip for basic life or internally rotate with the dumbbell slightly in front of your hip to target that rotator cuff (lighter weight).
2. Start at the hip and raise up to the shoulders. The dumbbells should be a few inches in front of your body to move in your scapular plane.
3. Elbows are slightly bent and you're initiating the movement with your shoulders.

Pro-Tip: We're going for blood flow on this. No need to get real heavy, just go lighter and check that ego.

Seated Dumbbell Lateral Raises

GOAL
Get those front shoulders poppin and striated

DETAILS
1. Seated on the edge of a bench or surface, begin with a proud chest.
2. With an underhand grip, raise one dumbbell at a time. 
3. Think of scooping the weight up and keeping the shoulders retracted slightly.
4. Slowly lower and alternate sides.

Seated Alternating Underhand Front Raise

GOAL
Get some shape to your upper body and improve your shoulder function 

DETAILS
1. Knees are slightly bent, hand grip can vary but usually right inside the shoulder is optimal. 
2. With the weight at your hips, begin pulling by leading with your elbows. Get the elbows up towards your ears and the weight will follow.
3. Keep the weight close to your body. 
4. As you pull, you can shrug up to target the traps as well. 
Pro-Tip: I prefer not wrapping my thumb around the bar aka less internal rotation.

Dumbbell Upright Row

The Weekly Shoulder Builder

GOAL 
6-pack time 

DETAILS 
1. Laying your back on a physioball. 
2. With a plate positioned over your shoulders, begin to crunch the abs into the spine.
3. Press the plate into the ceiling.
4. Lower slowly. Repeat.

Plate Sit Ups on Ball

GOAL

Develop that pressing strength aka chest, shoulders, triceps, and abs. Wow yep, abs #AbsinEverything

DETAILS
1. Keep a straight line from head to toe, abs tight and knees straight.
2. Gradually bring your chest to the floor, then press the floor away to return to your starting position.
3. Don't drop your neck, you aren't bobbing for apples. You are dominating some good shit. 

Pro-Tip: Elbow mechanics is key, keep them either close to the ribs or a few inches away from your ribs.

GOAL
Calorie burner 

DETAILS
1. Either run on a hill, outside or on the treadmill.
2. Work on figure 4 form.
3. 90-degree bend in elbows.
4. Land on the balls of your feet. 
5. Avoid heel striking.
