We are less than 24 hours from RACE START so today is about staying relaxed and off your feet as much as possible. If you need to get some race jitters out, head out for a 10-15 minute shakeout run and then do some light stretches or gentle foam rolling. The shakeout run is NOT a workout, but rather a time where you can relax and loosen up your legs, which also makes it entirely optional.
After you have picked up your race bib and any other supplies from race headquarters, take some time to organize your race gear. Make sure you have enough safety pins for your bib and double-check all race details to ensure you know where the Start line is...where to park; and where to take your drop bags. Make a time plan for the morning; know what time you need to leave and if you have crew or other runners with you, be sure to communicate all other details or plans for the morning.
Lastly, enjoy your evening with good food, your feet up, and a positive mind. No matter what happens tomorrow, it's going to be a GREAT ADVENTURE and one that you will undoubtedly grow from.
I'm proud of you...hope you're proud of YOU too!
