Everyone- No pounding today. We are taking a full break from running today and any intense activities. An easy walk is fine as well as Restorative Yoga.
If you have the option to get a massage this week(or today) that would be a nice addition to your recovery.
Please focus on strong nutrition and hydration today.
Take a nap, spend time with loved ones, walk the dog, read a book, Netflix...whatever sounds relaxing today, I want you to do.
Lastly, think about what helped you complete your workouts this past week. Did you have a stocked fridge of wholesome fuel? Did you set out your workout clothes each night? Did you take time to think about your goals or study the race website? Continue creating the habits for success..YOU deserve it and you're worth the extra effort.
