Every now and then, you will run the day after your long run, but not in these first weeks. Your recovery and rest days are just as important as the hard work, especially in the initial building phase.
Today is about resting; listening to what your body needs; and allowing yourself to spend time with people you love. Read a book; meet up with a friend; go on a walk with your family; or take a nap beneath a tree.
This is YOUR journey and the balance you bring to it will keep you excited about the weeks of training ahead!
