Today is a concentrated self care day. Even if you feel great and you're ready to get a run in, I'd like you to resist the urge to run and focus on other areas of your life where you can relieve stress; take care of an important task; meet with a friend/family member; or simply get a massage; nap; kick up your legs.
It's so important to allow yourself a solid rest day, especially now that we are 7 weeks into training; I want to make sure that we keep up the solid training. A full rest day can do wonders for the body, so enjoy today.
