Continue practicing your race day routine from what you'll eat before the race; to how you'll fuel during the race. Wear your race outfit, shoes, and use the exact gear you'll use on race day. Consider little details like socks, feet lube for blisters, body glide for chafing, sunglasses, and sunscreen. What will you put in your race pack: chapstick, ginger chews for a sour belly, bandaids, etc. Run with a full pack today to allow your mind to connect with race day. Today's overall effort is a 6/10 and the focus is to keep an even, efficient pace while dialing in your nutrition and hydration. Beginner- 2:00-2:30 hours Intermediate- 2:30-3:00 hours Advanced- 3:00 hours

Solid effort on recovering legs. Just under 13 miles in a little over 2 hours. Beautiful but windy day through the countryside. Time for some food and sleep!!
