You have the option of resting, x-training or going on a recovery run. All activities should stay around 5-6/10 effort. If you plan to run, keep heart rate under your aerobic heart rate. Beginner- 30 minute recovery run Intermediate- 40 minutes Advanced- 50 minutes

I taught my spin class so I used that as cross training and then later that evening just walked around soccer field while my youngest had practice
