Ingredients:
1 ripe banana, frozen
100g mixed berries, frozen
150ml almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
1 scoop vegan protein powder (strawberry or vanilla flavour work best!)
Toppings: 30g Strawberries, 1 kiwi, 30g blueberries
Method:
• In a blender, combine the frozen banana, mixed berries, almond milk, and vegan protein powder.
• Blend until smooth and creamy, adding more almond milk if necessary to reach your desired consistency.
• Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with your strawberries, kiwi and blueberries
• Serve immediately and enjoy your nutritious and delicious vegan protein smoothie bowl!
Customisation Ideas:
If you want a higher calorie breakfast, try adding some almond butter to the smoothie base and throw some granola on top.
Of course, if you’re not concerned with it being plant-based, whey protein works too!
