Overnight Protein Oats (V) Calories/Macros: 599 kcal 38g Protein 69g Carbohydrate 19g Fat Ingredients: 50g rolled oats 150ml semi-skimmed (2%) milk 25g protein powder (I prefer vanilla, but it’s up to you!) 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 20g chopped almonds Method: • Combine oats, protein powder, milk, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl or jar. • Mix well until everything is evenly combined. • Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4-6 hours. • Stir well before serving. Add extra milk if needed. • Sprinkle chopped almonds on top and enjoy! Customisation Ideas: If you wanted to make this vegan, swap out the milk for a plant-based milk and use a vegan protein powder. To reduce the calories, use a lower-fat milk and leave out the almonds. Play around with the additions, too! Try stirring through some extra nut butter or dried fruit.
