If you don’t want to get a donut maker, this recipe could work mini muffins in an air fryer or oven!

Ingredients:
*makes around 12 mini donuts!
-needed: mini donut maker (linked in my amazon storefront)

* 1 cup almond flour
* 1 large scoop vanilla protein powder
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1 egg + 1 egg white
* 1/4 cup of raw honey OR maple syrup
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
* 1 mashed banana
(Depending on what brand of everything you use, you may need to thicken / or add liquid to your batter! It should be thick, not runny! If needed, add a little more almond flour or protein powder to thicken OR a splash of almond milk if needed to make it less thick!

The glaze:
*2 large tbsp almond butter (creamy)
*2 large tbsp coconut oil
*3 large tbsp of pure maple syrup or honey
*A few dashes of cinnamon

Instructions:

Start the out maker & pre-grease with coconut oil

Combine all the dry ingredients in one bowl & then whisk all the wet ingredients in another bowl. Then combine together & mix thoroughly. 

Add about 2 tbsp of batter into each donut mold on the donut maker, cover & cook until it beeps to finish! Should be about 4 minutes!

In a small bowl, add the coconut oil, maple syrup & almond butter & microwave for 30 seconds to heat up. Then stir to combine thoroughly & add a few dashes of cinnamon. 

Take the donuts out & set on a plate & drizzle the glaze on top of them. Let cool for a few minutes! ENJOY!

IT WAS LIFE CHANGING!! Brynley you outdid yourself with this one😋🤤it was so good and tasted just like a normal cookie cake but healthy and it has protein! Tysm for this amazing recipe!!
side note: for anyone who doesn’t have eggs (like me lol) I just substituted them for baking powder so that it still fluffed up in the microwave
