The perfect 4th of July recipe... slow cooker Pulled Pork Sliders w/ Kansas City BBQ sauce. *Note: will need ~10 hrs cook time!
INGREDIENTS:
- Boston butt or pork shoulder roast (4-6 lbs, depending on the size of your slow cooker!)

- Hawaiian rolls or rolls of choice (potato, pretzel)
- extras: slaw, cheese, pickles, etc.
RECIPE:
- slice onions & put in slow cooker
- add pork roast to slow cooker, on top of the sliced onions
- add 2 jars of bbq sauce (enough so pork is fully submerged)
- cover & cook on low for 9 to 11 hours, or until very tender.
- at ~8 or 9 hours in, drain off fat, discard bones. shred pork in the existing sauce
- continue cooking on high for about 1 hour.
- serve shredded pork on rolls of choice, enjoy!
