HIGH PROTEIN MAC & CHEESE SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
* 2 cups Cottage Cheese, blended (add 1 tbsp water for blending)
* 130g Velveeta Cheese, cubed
* 42g Meal Booster Protein Cheese powder
* 1 tbsp Butter Powder
* ¼ tsp Garlic Salt
* ¼ tsp Onion Powder
Optional
* Small can of Green Chilies (for a nacho cheese version)
DIRECTIONS:
• Step one: Blend the Cottage Cheese
In a blender, combine the cottage cheese and 1 tbsp water. Blend until smooth and creamy.
• Step two: Pour the blended cottage cheese into a small saucepan over low heat. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and protein meal booster powder. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined on low.
• Step three: Add the butter powder, garlic salt, and onion powder to the saucepan. Stir until fully incorporated. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings to your preference. If you like a nacho-style flavor, add a small can of green chilies at this point.
• Step four: Once the sauce is smooth and fully melted, remove it from the heat. You can pour it over cooked pasta, vegetables, eggs, burgers, nachos, or taco salads. It’s especially good over pulled pork! The possibilities are endless!
• Step Five: The sauce can be refrigerated for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 6 months. It’s a great make-ahead option for quick meals.
