This is one of my favorite recipes that I adjusted slightly to reduce the fat and add additional protein. I LOVE how easy and convenient it is to throw together and makes fantastic leftovers.
SERVINGS: 10
PREP TIME:10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: 4-6 HOURS
INGREDIENTS
• 4 frozen chicken breasts
• 1 16oz block reduced fat cream cheese
• 1.5 cup reduced fat cottage cheese, blended
• 1 16oz bottle Olive Garden Italian dressing
• 1 16oz package dry pasta, lightly cooked (still slightly firm)
DIRECTIONS
1. Put frozen chicken breasts in crockpot
2. Pour entire bottle of Italian dressing over chicken breasts
3. Pour blended cottage cheese over top
4. Place block of cream cheese on top
5. Replace lid and let cook for 4-6 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low
6. Cook pasta according to directions, undercooking slightly
7. Remove chicken from crockpot, shred and replace
8. Add pasta to mixture and let cook for another 30-60 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
