Your TVA is a corset muscle. It wraps AROUND your body. We want to engage the entire muscle. This helps regulate IAP within our abdomens during exercise!

I went through an entire 6 weeks of pelvic floor therapy and the leaking stopped and everything was going well but now it’s regressing again. My only thought is that maybe I just need to be consistent with engaging my core through normal activities. I’m having a hard time finding time to exercise right now but every time I squat down to pick up the baby or something off the floor, I need to remember to engage!
