- Marathon Simulation
-Run one mile easy to warmup then go straight into 7 more miles at goal marathon pace plus one minute per mile (so if goal marathon pace is 7:00 then you will run 8 minute pace for these miles).
-Then take a two minute break to change into your racing shoes and take hydration and calories.
-Then run the next 7 miles at goal marathon pace.
-Then a 2 mile easy cool down.
