YOUR FIRST LOWER BODY DAY OF APRIL!!! Eeeek!!!! β¨π
Okay this one is sneaky good. Nothing wild or flashy but I really challenged my weight selection and my legs were actual noodles by the end.
I know you love when I share what Iβm lifting. I normally hold back because we have women at every level in here and I never want anyone pushing weight that is not right for them just to match me. Your body. Your season. Your strength!! But I also know it can be helpful to see what is possible and to have something to work toward, so Iβll sprinkle in little weight check ins here and there!!
For the trial Bulgarians I grabbed 35s. Truly humbling. I swear I could have just done those and called it a day. My PR is 55s in each hand, which feels wild to even type, but I am not in a season where I care about chasing that again. Strong and controlled is the goalπ€
Your HIIT circuit is bodyweight, but if you want to level it up you can absolutely add light weight and make it spicy!!
For the banded superset I used a medium band. Sometimes when I go too heavy on the band I lose range of motion and that good glute squeeze at the top. The medium let me move well and actually feel it where I wanted to.
The 3x3β¦ bodyweight first. Then I grabbed a 25 pound dumbbell. Then finished with a 75 pound dumbbell. Woof. That one builds quick.
By the final circuit my legs were DONE. I dropped to 15s and it was still hitting goooood!
Have so much fun with this one. Push yourself in a way that feels challenging but controlled. Rate and review when you finish and go check in with the community girls. I want to hear how those legs are feeling.
See you tomorrow π
