Cut it short to 5x400m due to the heat, by the end my heart spiked up to over 200bpm, Felt strong during those 5 fast 400s but the heat definitely takes its toll. Ran them all on 5 minute mile pace which is my goal time

Toughest one yet, but also the most productive. Almost felt like HIIT workout.

Splits:1:40 1:49 2:00 2:09 2:02 2:06 2:03 2:09
If I didn’t need the 60s rest, I’d hit my target mile. Problem is, I definitely needed it!

400m is my favorite interval distance. Not too long, not too short.
Still getting acclimated to running fast in the heat. Averaged 92.5 second laps. It was tough sticking to the rest period while maintaining similar times
