This is your excuse to go out and do what you’ve always thought you could.
Never run a mile? Today is the day.
Never run 3 miles? Today is the day.
Never run 5 miles? Today is the day.
Walk when you need, go slow at the start, slower than you think.
This isn’t about intensity, making it hard, or going fast. This is about distance; slow and steady is the key here.
