Hold a plate or dumbbell to your chest. Start lying down with your knees bent. Squeeze your core to sit all the way up. Avoid flinging yourself forward.

Weighted sit up

Place a dumbbell in between your feet. Be sure to squeeze your legs together to keep the dumbbell in place. Keep your back flat on the mat as you lower your legs down.

Weighted leg lifts

Twist all the way side to side holding a plate or dumbbell. 10 each direction.

Weighted V sit

Hold a plate or dumbbell to your chest. Lay all the way back squeeze your core to sit all the way up. Try not to swing yourself forward using the weight.

Weighted decline sit up
