Repeat the series of stretches for 3-5 minutes. Before your workouts, you should be doing dynamic stretches! 

Meaning do not HOLD a movement. Continue moving through the motions!

- Standing straight holding onto a stationary object
- With feet hip width apart
- Swing one leg forward and backward in a single movement 
- Switch sides and repeat

Forward leg swings

- Stand tall and hold onto a stationary surface
- Raise one leg as far out to the side as possible 
- Allow your leg to swing back down crossing in front of your standing leg
- Repeating the movement for reps
- Work both sides

Active Quad Stretch

Warm Up

Stand on your right foot and move your left foot back and to the side. Place the left foot in line with your right heel, with the ball of your foot planted.
Turn your foot slightly out to the side and shift most of your weight over your foot that is totally on the ground (you should have 90% of your weight on the right leg and 10% on the left)
Push your right hip back towards the wall behind you while keeping your back straight (this is an RDL)
Stop when you can no longer sit your hips back and feel a stretch in your hamstrings
Reverse the movement by pulling the floor back towards you and squeezing your hamstrings and glutes.

B-Stance RDL

- Stand holding a kettlebell or dumbbell close to your chest. Put your heels on a plate to elevate yourself.        
- Flex at the knees and push your hips back as you come down - Keep your chest up throughout the movement
- Pause at parallel and extend your legs to come back up

- Place the dumbbell on your hips
- Raise one leg off the ground
- Push through your heel raise your hips
- Engage your glutes as you lift

DB single leg glute bridge

DB Hip Thrust

- Stand tall, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Take a medium step to your left or right, planting the opposite foot and keeping the knee straight.
- Bend the stepping knee as much as you feel comfortable doing.
- At the bottom of each rep, one hand will be on either side of the bending knee.
- Press the floor away to return to your starting position.
