Single Leg Reach

- Standing straight holding onto a stationary object
- With feet hip width apart
- Swing one leg forward and backward in a single movement 
- Switch sides and repeat

Forward leg swings

- Stand tall and hold onto a stationary surface
- Raise one leg as far out to the side as possible 
- Allow your leg to swing back down crossing in front of your standing leg
- Repeating the movement for reps
- Work both sides

Lateral leg swings

DYNAMIC 1

- Stand holding a kettlebell or dumbbell close to your chest. Put your heels on a plate to elevate yourself.        
- Flex at the knees and push your hips back as you come down - Keep your chest up throughout the movement
- Pause at parallel and extend your legs to come back up

RDL Squat to Press

8 reps per leg!
Stand on one leg with a bench or box behind you.
Hold your arms out in front of your body if not using weight) or hold a dumbbell/kettlebell at the center of your chest.
Extend one leg out in front of your body.
Bending at the knee, begin to squat down on one leg toward the box or chair. It is extremely important to control the eccentric portion of this movement. Do not let yourself “plop” onto the bench. 
Do not stay seated, instead, lightly touch the box and immediately reverse direction and stand back up.
Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch legs.

Single Leg Box Squat

- Place the dumbbell on your hips
- Raise one leg off the ground
- Push through your heel raise your hips
- Engage your glutes as you lift

Yes!! This week I’ve realized it’s not about losing weight, it’s the strength built!! This strength training has helped me get back into jogging; my legs haven’t been tired at all from jogging! Growth!! ❤️
