Flared ribs pull the linea outward causing constant tension. This outward tension inhibits your gap to close ( rectus abdominus to come together) preventing healing of the connective tissue or functionality.

I don’t think I have rib flare anymore post-partum but I’m eager to do anything that’ll help my poor post-4th baby (and 9th pregnancy… Eesh) abs come back together!

I have functional DR which is great but a 105 degree angle to my ribs so I need to follow this closely
