“Handstands are something I never thought I was capable of doing but really wanted to do. I decided to try Kiana’s handstand program hoping to make some progress towards it, and by the end I was able to hold a freestanding handstand. Besides learning how to handstand, I gained so much strength, confidence, and body awareness going through Kiana’s program. I started the program as a complete beginner. I could not kick up to the wall, had low upper body strength, and had a fear of falling. Kiana met me at my level, creating a customized and progressive program for me. With her guidance I was able to build my strength, and slowly became more comfortable being upside down. She taught me how to safely kick up and fall out of a handstand, as well as how to hold a handstand with correct alignment. If I was not able to do a certain technique, she would improvise new drills and break things down even further until I was able to get it. During sessions she gives targeted adjustments and corrections that help you advance and progress in the skill you are working on. I made many breakthroughs during the sessions just by making the adjustments she suggested. Kiana has been so great to work with and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to learn from her. Even though I achieved my goals for now, I would definitely work with her again to continue to improve my handstands. “I started practicing yoga for the first time around July 2021. My only motivation was to perform inversions, specifically headstand and handstand variations. I have gained some degree of flexibility and mobility over almost a year on my own. Nevertheless, I could not make any specific progress on inversions. I add content consistently to keep your practice fresh, fun, and exciting, and to keep you motivated and ready to move! You'll get your own calendar to schedule in classes too, which will help you stay on track, and you'll also get access to a wide variety of other fitness instructors to compliment your practice with me. I'm a beginner, is your app for me?
Yes! My classes, workouts, and programs are for any level of fitness with categories for beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Plus, I'll walk you through all movements with easy-to-follow videos, clear progressions, and simple written instructions. This means you’ll be able to do all the moves easily, accurately, and safely.
What equipment do I need to get started?
For pole dance classes, you'll need access to your own pole, liquid chalk / grip, kneepads, and heels. For handstand, yoga, and flexibility classes, you'll need 2 yoga blocks, a strap, yoga mat, wall space. Additionally, you may need other forms of equipment depending on the workout.
Is there a desktop version of your app?
No, but you can easily cast your phone screen on to your computer or TV screen with chrome cast, apple tv, roku, or fire tv!
