“I started practicing yoga for the first time around July 2021. My only motivation was to perform inversions, specifically headstand and handstand variations. I have gained some degree of flexibility and mobility over almost a year on my own. Nevertheless, I could not make any specific progress on inversions. The moment I attempted to do tuck position, I was feeling pain on my neck, back or legs. I started to think that my body might not be convenient for the inversions. And eventually my last attempt in June caused a back pain which lasted almost a month. I was about to give up on my dream with the feeling of failure.
