Hi! I’m Rebecca and I’m so honored you’re here! I’ve been naturally drawn to meditative movement practices all my life, although I didn’t discover yoga until my late 20s. As a young adult, I used my morning runs to quiet my mind and to practice being present. I was diagnosed with scoliosis in my 20s and discontinued running due to pain. It was then I turned to yoga as a way to find the quietness I missed from running. My yoga practice began simply—with incorporating sun salutations into my morning routine. After practicing on my own and noting the physical benefits, I wanted to learn more, which led to yoga teacher training, starting a studio, and becoming a yoga therapist.
I hold a master’s degree in Yoga Therapy, am a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider through Yoga Alliance, and have completed multiple 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings. I am also a graduate of the Living School at the Center for Action and Contemplation where I studied meditation and contemplative living. I provide yoga therapy, coaching for yoga instructors, teacher trainings, and general classes—both virtually and in the Atlanta, GA, area.
