I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I worked hard to make my childhood dream a reality of playing softball at The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs)! My experience was one of the best and yet most challenging times in my life. Although I worked as hard as I could every day, my role on the team was not to be a star player, but to be a servant leader and make my teammates the best they can be.
During my college career, my strength and conditioning coaches had a major impact on my life. They taught me the importance of a resilient work ethic, and how to be a leader worth following. Their support further sparked my love of strength training and fitness and gave me an outlet to lead and build my confidence. Now, while working as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach for Mississippi State’s softball team, I have the privilege of impacting student-athletes lives and working to increase their athletic performance every day.
In my own experience, strength training and living a healthy lifestyle is a process that takes continual and consistent work. There is work to be done mentally and physically to make you the best version of yourself. Start where you are, do what you can, with what you have. Love who you are right now while working really hard for who you want to be! I would love to be part of your fitness journey and encourage you to realize the amazing potential that is already inside of YOU!
