What equipment do I need? As the name of the program implies, these workouts work best with a set of Finis Slide Dryland trainers. Although you "can" use any resistance band set with handles but you're not going to be able to get the angles to maximum results. Don't worry though, I got you covered with 20% OFF all Finis products. Just click on the "Insights" tab to look for the discount.
I've found the best place is an outdoor field with a tall fence like a baseball diamond. These tall fences provide the perfect place for endless hook up possibilities to get that perfect angle to hit those muscles. You can do them on a pool deck or a gym provided you have a way of attaching the hooks but you're going to be limited with what exercises you can do.
What's the difference between the Red and Yellow bands? The difference is resistance. The yellow band has a diameter of 7mm and is the "light" band, and the red band has a diameter of 9mm and is the "heavy" band. I generally use the yellow band for smaller muscle groups or for long endurance swimming sets, and I use the red bands for the larger muscle groups or for short sprint / power swimming sets.
Do I need to buy both the Red and the Yellow bands? I recommend buying both so that you are able to change the resistance according to the exercise.
