First leg day in a while ive actually felt good muscle activation in a while

Dustin

- Find yourself a step, box, bench or any other contraption that you can rest a foot on, it needs to be about knee height
- Get into a forward lunge position with torso upright, core braced and hips square to your body, with your back foot elevated on the bench
- Your leading leg should just under 2ft or so in front of bench 
- Lower until your front thigh is almost horizontal, keeping your knee in line with your foot (Don't let your front knee travel beyond your toes)
- Drive up through your front heel back to the starting position
- Complete desired reps then repeat on the opposite side

Bulgarian Split Squat

- Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding the barbell with an overhand grip, in front of your thighs
- Slowly lower the bar down the front of your legs with a slight bend in the knees, by hinging forward at the hips, sitting your glutes back and keeping your back straight
- Lower the bar until you feel a deep stretch in the glutes and hamstrings (depth will be determined by your own flexibility)
- Drive your hips forward, engaging the glutes and hamstrings to return to the standing position

Barbell RDL

- Adjust the machine lever to fit your height and lie face down on the leg curl machine with the pad of the lever on the back of your legs (just a few inches under the calves)
- Keeping the torso flat on the bench, ensure your legs are fully stretched and grab the side handles of the machine
- Position your toes straight
- Curl your legs up, bringing your heels toward your glutes, as far as possible without lifting the upper legs from the pad
- Pause at the fully contracted position
- Lower the legs back to the starting position

Prone Hamstring Curl

- Start by sitting on the machine with the pads positioned outside of your legs, and select your desired resistance
- In a controlled manner, open your thighs outward against the pads
- Pause at peak contraction before reversing the movement, returning your legs to starting position

Hip Abduction Machine

- Place your upper back on the edge of the box 
- Bring your hips up engaging your glutes

Elevated hip thrusts

- Adjust the height and weight on the machine, stand under the shoulder pads and place the balls of your feet on the platform with your toes pointed forward and your heels hanging off the platform
- Extend the legs and ankles and release the safety bar
- Lower the ankles by dorsiflexing the ankles until the calves are fully stretched
- Extend the ankles, lifting the weight as high as you possibly can
- Pause and squeeze at peak contraction before lowering back down into the stretched position
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, then re-lock the safety bar
