- Lay down on an incline bench with a dumbbell in each hand resting on top of your thighs
- The palms of your hands will be facing each other
- Then, using your thighs to help raise the dumbbells up, lift the dumbbells one at a time so that you can hold above you at shoulder width
- Once at shoulder width, rotate your wrists forward so that the palms of your hands are facing forward
- Lower the dumbbells just to the sides of your chest, with your upper arm and forearm creating a 90 degree angle
- Then, as you breathe out, use your chest to push the dumbbells up
- Lock your arms at the top of the lift and squeeze your chest, hold for a second and then begin lowering the dumbbells down again

Incline DB Press

alternative is regular fly machine/pec deck if you can’t set this up.

- Set the seat so that the handles are set at roughly shoulder height
- Sit tall on the machine, grasping the handles with an overhand grip 
- Brace your core and drive the handles upward by extending the elbows and contracting the shoulders
- Pause at peak contraction, before lowering the weight back to starting position with control

Plate Loaded Shoulder Press

- Sit tall with a straight torso and the dumbbells by your side at arms length with the palms of the hand facing in
- While maintaining the torso in a stationary position (no swinging), lift the dumbbells laterally to your sides with a slight bend in the elbows and the hands slightly tilted forward as if pouring water in a glass
- Continue to go up until you arms are parallel to the floor
- Pause at the top of the movement before lowering the dumbbells back down to the starting position

Lateral DB Raise

- Stand with the feet shoulder-width apart and grasp the barbell with an overhand grip
- Let the bar hang down at arms length in front of you
- Keeping a slight bend in the elbows, raise the bar forward and up until even with the shoulders
- Pause at peak contraction before lowering the bar back down to starting position with control

BB Front Raise

- Stand tall and grasp the bar with an overhand grip
- While maintaining the torso in a stationary position (no swinging), lift the bar forward and up with a slight bend in the elbows until your arms are parallel to the floor
- Lower the bar back down to the starting position with control

EZ Bar Front Raise

Setup: Seat height should align handles with the mid-chest. Keep your low side flush against the pad, shoulders back and down, and feet firmly on the floor.
Movement: Press the handles forward while focusing on squeezing the chest muscles. The motion is generally a controlled, slightly upward, and forward push, often with a slight inward convergence at the top.
