Hi, friend! I’m Yami, your new coach! I am so incredibly honored to be starting this journey with you! For as long as I could remember, everyone would tell me that I was either too fat, my butt was too big, or that “I will never make my dreams come true because the way my body is built”.  It seemed like everywhere I went, my body was THE PROBLEM. I tried to fix it and tried every diet in the book. You name it, I tried it. I even got to the point where I was barely eating during the week in hopes of getting my body to reach a certain point and then on the weekends, I would binge like it was my last day alive. THAT got ugly real fast. I would also workout 24/7. Getting skinny became my obsession. It was all I ever thought and spoke about. I started experimenting with the weights(GASP!) in the gyms. At first, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing but I had a very good friend that was showing me the ropes.  Ever since then, weight training has been one of my saving graces. I was sick of all the yo-yo dieting and not having a healthy relationship with food that it was beginning to go towards depression. I set a goal for myself and made it happen. Ever since then, weight training has been one of my saving graces. This was a pivotal point in my life where my mentality shifted. I didn’t care about being the skinny model. I cared more about being a STRONG and HEALTHY woman. For myself. Not for anyone else. Today, I am so happy that my journey led me here. A position where I can help hundreds of women not only look their best but feel their best as well!  I can’t wait to get started on this journey with you. It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
