◦ There are many causes of tight hips: sitting or general inactivity, postural imbalances, and overuse of the hip muscles
◦ These yoga poses and stretches may help relieve pain and tightness associated with the hip muscles
◦ Be especially cautious and gentle with these stretches
◦ As you go through these stretches take your time and focus on form and breathing
◦ Hold each stretch for 30-60 seconds (30 seconds each side for one sided stretches). Optional: repeat 1-2x
◦ Do these exercises 2-4x/week
