    We’re Mitch and Justine — former athletes, registered nurses, and creators of ASCEND! 💪🏼 We’ve been athletes our whole lives. But after sports ended, we felt a little lost. Programs were either strength-heavy or cardio-focused — never both. We were tired of piecing things together and constantly feeling like one side of our training was falling behind. The ASCEND method was born out of that frustration. We needed a system that actually made sense. One that helped us get stronger, faster, and more resilient without second-guessing every workout.     Do I need to purchase equipment?
    It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
