I’ve been a firefighter for over 20 years and 10 of those have been at the busiest station in LA. During this time I’ve seen countless firefighters become injured, sick and burnout from the overwhelming workload that’s asked of our first responder community. I’ve figured out how to become resilient, strong and healthy all the while being under tremendous amounts of stress, sleep deprived and injured I want to show you what I’ve learned the hard way. I’ve taught health and wellness in all areas of the fire department. From dispatchers, lifeguards, in the academy, in operations to the chief officer level I’ve truly developed a unique system that allows firefighters to thrive not just survive.
