Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have signed up?
The first step to make sure you signed up is by filling out the challenge entry form at www. flolyfe.com/challenge Submit your goals, photos (optional), and any other additional info (only takes ~2 minutes). The second requirement is to be an active subscriber of The Daily FLO App (this app) or a 1:1 FLO Training Academy Member. Thats it! As soon as you get the confirmation screen at the end of the application, you are officially signed up for the challenge!
What are the goals of this challenge?
The physical goal of this challenge is geared towards getting your core toned up through the holiday season as well as improving your overall functional fitness and health. But the long-term goal is that you will implement sustainable, life long healthy habits and practices that you can continue the rest of your life!
How do I schedule the core/HIIT workouts into my weekly routine?
This program should be in conjunction with your current, existing training plan. The core and HIIT workouts in this challenge are quick & effective designed to be done before or after your main workout for the day.
What equipment is required?
No gym membership or equipment is required for this challenge! For any exercises that uses a piece of equipment, I will provide an alternative exercise that does not require any equipment other than your bodyweight. You can do these workouts anywhere!
Who are these workouts for (skill level)?
Whether you are just getting started or are an elite athlete, everyone can do these workouts! Plus, each of the demo videos makes it easy to understand how to properly perform each of the movements so you can both stay safe and get the most out of each training session.
How should I take my progress photos?
Below are my top 5 progress pic tips: 1. Take them in the morning, before eating or drinking anything 2. Wear a simple, plain outfit (no lose or baggy clothing). It's best to wear tight clothing. Be sure to wear the same outfit each time you take pics. 3. Take your photos from 3 different angles (front, back, & side). Try to stick to the same position and angle every time. 4. Find a location with good lighting! Usually natural lighting suites pictures best and where you can capture the full length of yourself. 5. Ask some to take the picture for you or use the self timer feature on your phone.
Are progress photos required?
No! Progress photos are not required to participate in the challenge, but if you want to be eligible for my $1,000 cash price + coaching call with me + free FLOLYFE merch + 12-month access to a nutrition plan and nutrition coaching, progress pics are required for judging at the end of the challenge. I HIGHLY encourage you take them, even if you don't care about winning. You will be SO glad you did when you truly commit to the next 6 weeks. Your photos remain private and I will never post them publicly without your permission first! If you submit photos & decide you want to retake them, simply go back to the challenge page -- www.flolyfe.com/challenge -- and go through the sign up process again. PLEASE make sure you use the SAME email! Please use the link in the intro description to submit your progress photos. Final day to submit your Day 1 photo is November 13th.
