Hi! I'm Coach Mary. I grew up as a competitive figure skater and performed in shows professionally for 4 years. After retirement, I discovered my passion for sharing my love for skating with others and building an adult community. I've coached skaters of all ages and abilities for the past 13+ years. Now, I ice dance and play hockey as an adult. I created Coach Mary Skating to give skaters worldwide an affordable and accessible resource. Figure skating and hockey are expensive sports. I’m a beginner, is this for me?
No matter where you are in your fitness journey, this platform can help you succeed. Workouts and programs are designed for all fitness levels, with expert guidance every step of the way. You’ll be provided with easy-to-follow videos and clear instructions, ensuring you can perform each exercise safely and effectively.
Who is this app for?
Figure skaters and hockey players of all ages, coaches, and interested parents looking for both off-ice training (strength, plyo, core, mobility, skater-specific training) and on-ice drills (edge classes, power skating, jump and spin drills).
How much does the app cost?
EARLY BIRD SALE: Everyone gets a 7-day free trial! Afterwards, choose a $14.99 monthly subscription or a $99 annual subscription (only $8.33 a month!). This early bird membership expires 5/14. Then, the app will be $19.99 monthly or $129 yearly. The annual subscription will be best the long term investment :) I drop new workouts weekly and challenges quarterly.
Do I need to purchase equipment?
No equipment is needed. Weights, bands, balance board, and a spinner are optional.
How long are workouts?
A majority range from 10-30 minutes - simple and effective. I offer both 4-10 week programs and category workouts to pick and choose from.
Will you still offer PDF guides?
Yes! Everyone learns differently and some of my students prefer PDFs. My PDFs include additional info such as skater mindset, mental prep tips, healthy habits, goal planning, and more.
Will you still have free content?
Yes! Accessibility is important to me. My free YouTube workouts and free workouts on my app will never disappear.
