I’m Candy Price, a personal trainer and mind-body teacher with a clinical healthcare background. For nearly thirty years, I worked with cancer patients and saw how strong routines and healthy habits help people face challenges with greater resilience and confidence. For the past four years, I’ve worked closely with older adults who want to feel stronger, steadier, and more confident in their bodies. Your body adapts when you train it. Frequently asked questions

I’m a beginner, is this for me?
YES! I have worked with adapting movements for clients and their specific needs my entire career. All of my classes are osteoporosis/osteopenia safe (if needed). You’ll build strength, balance, and confidence with modifications to fit your needs. Plus, you’ll have access to lifestyle tools like recipes, education, mindset work, and a supportive community to help you every step of the way.
Is this program for more intermediate/advanced students?
Absolutely! I have three paths to success based on your level of experience. My beginners path focuses on safe movements and form, intermediate path supports you in increasing your strength with higher intensity exercises, and the advanced path is for those serious about progressive overload training.
Do I need to purchase equipment?
All you need are a couple sets of dumbbells and a yoga mat if you decide to do floor work. Most people start with 5 pounds.
Do I have to get on the floor to participate?
You DO NOT have to get on the floor. The Beginner path is a full program with standing strength and mobility exercises using a chair for support. All beginners path classes are safe, effective, and completely done standing. My follow along and advanced path includes floor work.
Will this help with my balance, bones, and overall health?
Yes! Strength, mobility, and balance exercises are the foundation, but your membership also includes mindful practices, nutrition tips, education, and a supportive community - all designed to improve stability, protect your bones, boost energy, and build confidence.
What if I have injuries or limitations?
No problem! All classes are bone-smart and include osteoporosis/osteopenia-safe options and progressions. I have experience with training others safely.
Will this help prevent perimenopause/menopausal bone loss?
Yes. My workouts combine progressive strength, balance, and mobility to support bone health and stability. And if you do have osteopenia/osteoporosis, I cue safe options and progressions.

MORE ABOUT MY STORY From Cancer Care to Preventive Health My career began in clinical healthcare, working closely with cancer patients. For almost 30 years, I saw both the life-saving power and the limits of conventional medicine. Western medicine treats disease well, but it rarely teaches how daily movement, strength, and lifestyle build long-term resilience. Bringing Strength, Yoga, and Nervous System Health Together Strength training and cardio have always been part of my life, but yoga taught me how to manage stress and support my nervous system. Pilates deepened my understanding of posture, core strength, and intentional movement. Together, these practices became the foundation of my approach. Proven Results in Older Adult Fitness For several years, I’ve helped older adults improve bone density, strength, and balance through safe, hands-on training. That work continues today in my app, where I guide people to move with confidence, maintain independence, and feel strong in their bodies as they age. Beyond My Work I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves hiking and biking the forests of western North Carolina, working in my cottage garden, and spending time with my pups.
