From Cancer Care to Preventive Health
My career began in clinical healthcare, working closely with cancer patients. For almost 30 years, I saw both the life-saving power and the limits of conventional medicine. Western medicine treats disease well, but it rarely teaches how daily movement, strength, and lifestyle build long-term resilience.
Bringing Strength, Yoga, and Nervous System Health Together
Strength training and cardio have always been part of my life, but yoga taught me how to manage stress and support my nervous system. Pilates deepened my understanding of posture, core strength, and intentional movement. Together, these practices became the foundation of my approach.
Proven Results in Older Adult Fitness
For several years, I’ve helped older adults improve bone density, strength, and balance through safe, hands-on training. That work continues today in my app, where I guide people to move with confidence, maintain independence, and feel strong in their bodies as they age.
Beyond My Work
I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves hiking and biking the forests of western North Carolina, working in my cottage garden, and spending time with my pups.
