From Cancer Care to Preventive Health:
My story begins in healthcare, working clinically with cancer patients. After more than 20 years helping patients navigate challenging diagnoses, I saw both the life-saving power and the limits of conventional medicine. Western medicine treats disease, but it rarely teaches how lifestyle and movement can build resilience for long-term health.
Bringing Fitness and Nervous System Health Together:
When I needed support for my own health, I turned to yoga. Strength training and cardiovascular workouts have been part of my life for years, but yoga gave me mental clarity and helped me manage stress. Pilates showed me how intentional movement improves posture, core strength, and body awareness.
Proven Results in Women’s Health:
For the past three years, I have worked in person every day with women who want to improve bone density, strength, and balance. I continue to work with them while packaging my proven strategies into The Better Bones Blueprint, an online program designed to help women 55+ stay strong, independent, and free. My work combines clinical experience with movement training to help you build lasting strength and independence.
My Other Passions:
I am a lucky wife, mother, and grandmother. When I am not helping people get healthier you can find me hiking or biking the forests of western NC, working in my cottage garden, or playing with my pups!
