Hey Mama! Congratulations! I am so excited for you! Being able to carry and provide a safe haven for your baby is such a privilege! During this trimester you might experience morning sickness, and food aversions! Your energy might be low and you might feel tired! This is totally normal! Your body is rapidly changing. Listen to your body! And take things slow. This Trimester, your only modification is to listen to how you feel! For the most part, you can continue to workout prior to getting pregnant. **Obviously if your doctor as other recommendations or restrictions please advise. If you start to see any bulging or coning in the core, or have any pelvic pain or leakage- these are your cues to start to modify.

Hi! I’m Alyssa! A mama to 4 babies and 1 husband !😝 I am a former D1 soccer athlete and a former D1 soccer coach for 7 years! As well as former CSCS certified strength coach. My story as a pre/postnatal health coach began shortly after my 2nd baby. I had no idea that taking care of our bodies during pregnancy and postpartum should look and feel different than your normal everyday workouts! That working out the same can actually cause unnecessary problems to our growing and changing bodies! I was frustrated that this information isn’t given to a new mother. That it’s very hard to find! We are expected to grow a baby, have the baby, and a day or two later care for that baby. And yet we aren’t told how to prepare our bodies for massive change or healing. So through a few mentors who helped me during my own pregnancies and postpartum journey- I wanted to spread that knowledge and information that is easy and accessible to other mamas and moms to be!
