Hi! I’m Alyssa! A mama to 4 babies and 1 husband !😝 I am a former D1 soccer athlete and a former D1 soccer coach for 7 years! As well as former CSCS certified strength coach. My story as a pre/postnatal health coach began shortly after my 2nd baby. I had no idea that taking care of our bodies during pregnancy and postpartum should look and feel different than your normal everyday workouts! That working out the same can actually cause unnecessary problems to our growing and changing bodies! I was frustrated that this information isn’t given to a new mother. That it’s very hard to find! We are expected to grow a baby, have the baby, and a day or two later care for that baby. And yet we aren’t told how to prepare our bodies for massive change or healing. So through a few mentors who helped me during my own pregnancies and postpartum journey- I wanted to spread that knowledge and information that is easy and accessible to other mamas and moms to be!
Goals
To help mothers strengthen their deep core and pelvic floor during pregnancy. As well as learn how to relax the pelvic floor during birth. Postpartum you will learn how to connect back to the deep core while keeping your pelvic floor engaged.
Training Requirements
All workouts can be done at home and are 30 minutes or less! Very minimal equipment. Bands, dumbbells, chair, pillow.
Accomplishments
Master Degree Health Education. CSCS certification. Women’s Specialist. Pre/Postpartum certification.
