I went from being an overweight child who was afraid to exercise & thought of it as punishment, to the sole fitness instructor of a busy hotel resort in Greece. On the outside everything looked optimistic and though I was existing in a new, more socially acceptable body & having more fun with exercise - I was also dealing with grief at the same time and felt like something inside of me was broken or missing. This internally low point in my life was the fuel for the beginning of what I hope will be a lifelong journey & exploration of Yoga. Yoga and self-healing has and continues to change my perspective and outlook in all areas of life! I now recognise what a gift it is to be able to move and if my journey so far has taught me anything, it’s to be grateful for each breath we get to take. Movement is not something we Have to do, it’s something we Get to do. We are made to move and enjoy endless benefits for our physical bodies and mental health. We we’re also made to feel a huge array of emotions and are capable of learning tools to self-regulate our nervous systems & cope with the challenges that come our way. We as humans have four planes of existence; Physical, Mental, Emotional & Spiritual. In todays society, we give more attention and energy to that which we can see, than that which we can’t. And I’ve had plenty of experience changing the outside and hoping the inside would match - it didn’t. First, we must work on the inside and the rest will follow. For me, particularly now postpartum, I have a whole new layer of body appreciation and believe that when it comes to movement, meditation and mindset, it’s really about a willingness to do the inner work, to do less & be more - playful, curious and an awe of what our body & minds CAN do, through all stages of life.

We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
