About the program

Welcome to Bodyweight & Bands Babe! I've created this program to help women move pain free and learn fundamental movement patterns with proper biomechanics. This is a 4 WEEK PROGRAM of progressive mobility and strength workouts using just bodyweight & bands to kickstart your metabolism & strength training journey and just feel amazing with the way your body moves. This program is great for beginners who are just starting their strength training journey as well as for the seasoned athlete who has muscular imbalances or who needs a workout to do at home between gym days. This is not just a mobility program. To be resilient, you need to also activate and strengthen the underperforming muscle groups, especially your core. This program will do just that! You'll feel the difference in just 1 week!

    About Nicolette Kousoulas

    Menopause Fitness Coach

    After training women for 30 years, I discovered most women have major muscular imbalances causing nagging aches and pains in various joints throughout the body. As women transition through perimenopause and menopause, these joint aches worsen with the drop in estrogen. This led me to develop the "Bodyweight & Bands Babe," a program crafted from my many years working as a personal trainer to meet the need for effective training strategies that address muscular imbalances and help midlife women feel better in their bodies. It combines mobility, stability and strength exercises that effectively eliminate joint pain caused by muscular imbalances— which is critical to avoid injury.

    Frequently asked questions

    I’m a beginner, is this for me?
    Absolutely! In each of my videos I give very precise cueing so you understand how to perform each exercise perfectly. Plus I always start with the most regressed form of each exercise and give progressions as you move through the program. But it's not just for beginners! It's a great way to prime the body and build great core strength for more intense programs in the future. Beginners and advanced clients alike can all benefit from these mobility & activation drills. Plus bodyweight exercises can be quite challenging. This program can also be used as travel workouts when you don't have access to a gym, just simply pack your bands and go!
    Do I need to purchase equipment?
    The equipment for this program is very minimal. You may even already have some of these tools.     What are the goals of this program?

    What is the schedule?
    * Mobility & Strength Training 4 times per week (35-40 minutes and each week builds upon the previous week) * 2 days of Zone 2 cardio plus self-myofascial release & mobility routine * 1 full rest day
