Hi I'm McKenna

Hi there! I’m McKenna, and I know firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle work, life, and fitness. As a busy mom of two, a business owner, and an instructor, I understand the struggles of finding time for self-care and staying active amidst the chaos. That’s exactly why I created Busy & Balanced at Home—to help busy individuals like you find balance and feel amazing, no matter how hectic life gets. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been teaching spin and group fitness for over 7 years and am a NASM certified personal trainer. But it wasn’t until I became a mom that I truly understood the importance of making fitness work within the boundaries of a busy schedule. I wanted to stay healthy, but I needed workouts that were short, flexible, and didn’t require me to leave the house. My philosophy is simple: Fitness shouldn’t feel like a chore. It should be something that empowers you, makes you feel good, and fits into your day without causing more stress. Whether you’re squeezing in a 10-minute workout between meetings, fitting in a quick session after putting the kids to bed, or taking a break to focus on yourself, I’m here to guide you through it. I’m passionate about helping you build a fitness routine that fits your unique lifestyle. I’ve designed every workout on this platform to be efficient, effective, and, most importantly, doable—because I get it. Life is busy. But I believe you deserve to feel strong, confident, and energized, no matter what’s on your plate. I want you to know that I’m with you every step of the way. Whether you’re looking for motivation, guidance, or just a little bit of fun, I’m here for it.             I'm a beginner, is Playbook for me?
            No matter where you are in your fitness journey, Playbook can help you succeed. Workouts and programs posted in the app are for any level of fitness. Plus, trainers walk you through all exercises with easy-to-follow videos and simple written instructions. This means you’ll be able to do all the moves easily, accurately, and safely.
            Do I need to purchase equipment?
            It depends on the workout! Playbook has a lot of workouts that require no equipment. We also have workouts that require minimal equipment (like dumbbells or a yoga mat) and some that require weight-lifting machines. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
