Squeeze Glute muscles on the upward movement but don’t push your hips out. 

The aim of this exercises is to work your glute muscles as well as to get the heart rate up so use fast but controlled movements.

Fast Squats

Keep your back straight at all times with both knees slightly bent. 

When executing the backward toe tap, fully extend your leg and tense your glute muscle.

Count the sideways and backward toe tap as one rep.

Position knees slightly apart at shoulder width. 

Push your hips out slightly as you squat and then use your glute muscles to lift your body back up to the resting position.

Squeeze your glutes in the upward position but don’t push your hips out.

Kneeling Squats

Use your stable leg to lift your hips until your knees, hips and shoulders form a straight line.

Squeeze your glute muscles at the lift and keep your abs drawn in.
