Certified Personal Trainer (Vegan)

I am a lifelong athlete and grew up playing ice hockey for 15 years as a goalie. After college I discovered weightlifting and was immediately drawn to it because I felt accomplished and strong after leaving the gym. I saw the results of my hard work in the gym and realized it's possible to mold my body while simultaneously improving my health, happiness, and sense of fulfillment. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a nationally-ranked and 57kg Louisiana state record-holding former USA Powerlifting competitive powerlifter. I've also been vegan for 11 years and vegetarian for over 20. My home base is Little Rock, Arkansas, where I work in-person and online with personal training clients. Before becoming a personal trainer, I earned my Masters degree in Urban Planning and International Development Planning and worked in the development and nonprofit sector for 12 years in Beirut, Lebanon, New York City, Boston, New Orleans, and Little Rock. My program uses a powerbuilding approach, which combines the three main strength lifts—squat, bench, and deadlift—with accessory lifts to build muscular strength, endurance, and tone.
