Workout with me! Let me handle your programming so all you have to do is show up to the gym and workout. Each day I’ll post my workout program for the following day. My program follows a powerbuilding method and allows for modification. Powerbuilding uses the three main strength lifts—the squat, bench, and deadlift—along with accessory lifts and cardio to achieve strength, physique, and conditioning goals. For this program to be effective, use progressive overload, increasing weights up to 5% each week. I believe everyone can benefit from powerbuilding because strength, muscle development, and conditioning are fundamental to feeling confident—both mentally and physically—throughout your life. About Johanna Paine

Online personal trainer

I am a lifelong athlete and grew up playing ice hockey for 15 years as a goalie. After college I discovered weightlifting and was immediately drawn to it because I felt accomplished and strong after leaving the gym. I saw the results of my hard work in the gym and realized it's possible to mold my body while simultaneously improving my health, happiness, and sense of fulfillment. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a nationally-ranked and 57kg Louisiana state record-holding former USA Powerlifting competitive powerlifter. I've also been vegan for 11 years and vegetarian for over 20. My home base is Little Rock, Arkansas, where I work in-person and online with personal training clients. Before becoming a personal trainer, I earned my Masters degree in Urban Planning and International Development Planning and worked in the development and nonprofit sector for 12 years in Beirut, Lebanon, New York City, Boston, New Orleans, and Little Rock. There’s something for everyone — regardless of equipment — to help you get in shape.
