Why do I need to stretch? Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tigh and painfult.
Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.
Stretching before and after your workouts is a must and will prevent injury!
Not everybody can go into the splits just like that :)
Work within your bodies capabilities and don't compare your flexibility to anybody else's.
In my videos do you best to copy the movement - you might find you can do the moment better than me!
Regular stretching the same positions will help create muscle memory and more flexibility so stay consistent.
