Activity recovery days are one of my favorite days of the week! I crave movement but sometimes I don’t have the energy for a full blown run or workout so active recovery days are best of both worlds - my body is able to recover from a hard week of training but I still am able to get movement in more so for my mental health than anything. Activity recovery days can be spent however YOU like! This can be hiking, walking, spending time on the water, or catching up on your favorite Netflix show while walking on the treadmill. The most important thing is to do something that fills up your cup!
