If your idea of a perfect weekend involves a pair of hiking boots, a snowboard, a fresh trail, or just having the energy to say yes to an impromptu outdoor adventure without worrying if your lower back is going to pay for it on Monday, welcome home. I’m Camryn, the founder of Goat House Gym, and I am on a passionate mission to rescue fitness from the confines of boring, repetitive gym walls and return it to where it belongs...real life. My credentials look great on paper. I’m an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, a PPSC Lifelong Performance Specialist, an RRCA Level 1 Run Coach, and a certified Snowboard Instructor. But what those acronyms actually mean is that I’ve spent years obsessing over how the human body moves, breaks, heals, and thrives. I don’t train people to look good under perfect fluorescent gym lighting; I train people to be absolute weapons in the real world. My coaching philosophy is simple: We train inside so we can absolutely crush it outside. I look at fitness through a unique lens that blends sports and recreation preparedness, structural longevity, and bulletproof injury prevention. Why? Because I believe everyone is an everyday athlete. You don't need a professional sports contract to deserve a body that moves without pain, feels inherently strong, and adapts to whatever challenge you throw at it. Whether you are training to summit a 14er, trying to shave minutes off your next marathon, or simply trying to recover from nagging aches so you can get back to the outdoor activities you love, I design strategic blueprints tailored exactly to your reality. What makes this app different? How do I know it will work for me?
If you haven’t had success with other workout apps in the past, it’s understandable to be skeptical. But with the right guidance, support, and fresh content, you can achieve the results you want. Instead of static programs or PDFs with no assistance, this platform offers dynamic, interactive workouts. New programs and instructional videos are added regularly to keep you motivated and engaged. Plus, if you ever need help, you can reach out directly for questions, feedback, or to share your progress!
Can I workout from home?
Yes! We have at home workouts available in our subscription for some workout categories. We also offer the 12-Week Functional Strength Training at home program. All you need to do our workouts from home is a foam roller, resistance band, dumbbells and/or kettlebells, a chair or bench, and a mat. In the description of each workout, you will be able to see what equipment you need for the workout.
Do I need to purchase equipment?
It depends on the workout! Make sure to check out each program to see what is required to complete it. No matter what you have access to, there’s something for everyone to help you get in shape!
Help me decide between subscription and one-time purchase!
We suggest starting out with a subscription to our collection of individual workouts. You can browse by muscle group to focus on building functional strength and mobility in your lower body, core, or upper body. These workouts are 20-60 minutes long, also allowing you to combine them and customize your day.

We prioritize "functional strength patterns" (squatting, lunging, hinging, carrying) and unilateral (single-leg) stability because that is what your body actually uses when you are climbing a mountain peak, skiing down a slope, or running a trail. We build a resilient chassis so your joints can handle the real-world impact of the outdoor sports you love.
I'm new to exercise, will this work for me?
We train the "everyday athlete," which means our programs are highly structured but built with safety and longevity in mind. Our founder, Camryn, is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a PPSC Lifelong Performance Specialist, meaning injury prevention is baked into every block we write. We focus on waking up dormant muscle groups, stabilizing joints, and avoiding overtraining. We scale the movements so you can safely transition from building a foundation to unlocking true athletic power.
How much time do I need to commit to these workouts?
We prioritize quality over quantity because we know you want to spend less time staring at gym walls and more time doing what you love. Depending on the plan you choose—whether it's our ultra-focused 12-Week Functional Strength program (which requires just 2 full-body workouts per week) or our high-energy 8-Week Athletic Training track—the workouts are designed to be highly efficient, wrapping up in 45 to 60 minutes. We build consistency into your real, busy life, not a hypothetical perfect schedule.
