Get to know Me: Remote Fitness and Hunting Professional

I grew up in rural America — a small town kid lost in the country with limited exposure to the outside world but endless open country to explore and teach me a more primal skill set. Hunting became my compass — it gave me purpose, taught me discipline, and pulled me toward something bigger than an isolated life. At just 12 years old, I became a self-taught solo bowhunter. My reputation began to spread and eventually led me into guiding small and big game hunts and even working on Outdoor Channel productions. Sports shaped the other half of who I am. I played at the collegiate level, trained under countless coaches, and learned what it meant to work hard and push limits. Hunting and athletic performance built me from a young age and taught me how to fight through setbacks — from a hip condition at birth to tearing my Achilles tendon. Through every injury and life change, the hunt remained constant. After 30+ years in the field and in the gym, that passion evolved into helping others build strength, resilience, and confidence through the same lessons that shaped me. I’m a beginner — is OCP HUNTFIT for me?
Absolutely. You don’t need to be an elite athlete or experienced lifter to start training like a hunter. Every workout is scalable — meaning you can start where you are and build from there. Inside the app, you’ll get: Step-by-Step Videos – I walk you through every exercise so you know exactly how to do it safely and with good form. Progressive Programming – Each week builds on the last, helping you get stronger, more mobile, and more confident without being overwhelming. Train Anywhere – All you need is a set of dumbbells and a little space. No matter your starting point, you’ll finish each session knowing you’re closer to being ready for the hunt.
Do I need to purchase equipment?
Yes — but it’s minimal. OCP HUNTFIT is built around dumbbell-focused workouts, so you’ll need: A Set of Dumbbells – Adjustable or fixed, whatever you have access to. A Bench – Flat or adjustable works, as long as it’s sturdy. A Pull-Up Bar – Optional but recommended, since some workouts include pull-ups (I give substitutions if you don’t have one yet). This setup lets you train anywhere — at home, in the gym, or on the road — without needing expensive machines or a full gym membership.
