Stephen Navaretta, otherwise known as Brooklyn Tank, hails from Brooklyn NY, and is a master of calisthenics and functional bodyweight training. He has built an impressive physique and unique skillset as an athlete, encouraging the broader fitness community to safely experiment with new and innovative training styles, and that sometimes you can achieve more with less.
Brooklyn Tank grew up in neighborhoods that were a little rough around the edges, but which provided lots of urban obstacles like playgrounds, that he gladly used as a resource for exercise. With a breakdancing background, he was already able to do extraordinary things with his body and his training has naturally evolved and developed into a hybrid of weights, gymnastics, and functional strength training that he now loves to share with his following and clients.
